Big Blue

These photos are from earlier today on a ride under our usually blue sky. Not always blue, but mostly blue. If you are going to feel blue, I say this is the best way to be blue!

Childless

I took a quick jaunt around the area to get the heck out of the house for a while today. Had a nice chat with my dad while parked in this little park. I feel a bit childless like this playground regarding the damned virus. I so want to see my children and the rest of my family but it’s not possible. The fence around the playground is like the virus, a fence that keeps families apart.

A sad sight

Still Surviving!

Two days in and I’m still following the watering schedule given to me by the crew chief who delivered the new Sago palms. The Lantana seem happy too as they get full sunshine and indirect light too through the day. For now, I parked Wilson atop the tubing junction that waters the that palm tree. Another lovely day is underway with 102 degrees forecast. 🌵🌴🌞🔥

A Very Quick Walk

I hadn’t walked this linear park before so I stopped to have a look. The trails go much further than I can walk so perhaps a bike ride is in order. This is one of many Linear Parks as I call them. It’s actually a Wash, a drain channel for flood control. I suspect that this one is also a natural wash that has been converted for public use, yet still functions as a wash. Like the sign says, stay away if it is raining as the wash could flood very quickly! Photos are from yesterday.

The Eye Machine

While waiting for the doctor to come in the room after the tech did all of the testing, I was giving this machine a good looking over. The detail is amazing, a very complex machine that is made in Japan of course.
